Ulysses Club France
Our aims are:
- To provide ways in which older riders can get together for companionship and mutual support.
- To show by example that motorcycling can be an enjoyable and practical activity for riders of all ages.
- To draw the attention of public and private institutions to the needs and views of older riders.
- To foster relations with Ulysses members internationally.
Whilst most members are currently in the Rhone Alpes, we have a few members based elsewhere in France and we keep in regular contact through our website. We organise single-day or weekend ride—outs where possible throughout the year. We also organised extended trips in France and elsewhere in Europe where we often arrange to may meet up with our good Ulysses friends from other countries’ clubs. There is also the chance to meet up with international members when they visit France, including visitors from the 36,000 strong Australian Ulysses Club.
Membership is open to all those over 40 years of age who hold a current motorcycle licence or can demonstrate a long standing interest in motorcycling. If you are interested in joining us in ‘Growing Old Disgracefully’ we would be delighted for you to join us!
